Saint-Etienne School of Mines

Objectives:

The objectives of this education week is to transfer the following courses :

  • GP12 Reactor control "instrumentation and control methodologies", to be delivered by Philippe Breuil, a professor of School of Mines of Saint-Etienne
  • GP12  Reactor design Homogenous and Heterogenous Reactors", to be delivered by Jan Verstraete, from IFPEN, who delivers this course to our master 2 degree level and students of the school of Mines
  • GP14  Oil Refining "Refining processes / Gas Plant Optimisation", to be delivered by Baptiste Bouillot, a professor of School of Mines of Saint-Etienne

Monday 10 (8h30-11h30 then 13h30-16h30;  at Computer Room D1.18) 

and Tuesday 11  (8h30-11h30 at Room D1.18) : GP12Reactor control "instrumentation and control methodologies", to be delivered by Philippe Breuil, a professor of School of Mines of Saint-Etienne

Tuesday 11 afternoon : visit St-Etienne school of Mines, meeting with personalities, then moving to  LYON-CITY and dinner.

Wednesday 12 (8h30-11h30  at Room C1.15 ; 13h30-16h30 at Room D1.18)

and Thursday 13 (13h30-16h30- at Room D1.18) : GP12  Reactor design Homogenous and Heterogenous Reactors", to be delivered by Jan Verstraete, from IFPEN, who delivers this course to our master 2 degree level and students of the school of Mines

Thursday 14 (8h30-11h30  at Room D1.18)  and Friday (8h30-11h30 then 13h30-16h30;  at Room D1.18) : GP14  Oil Refining "Refining processes / Gas Plant Optimisation", to be delivered by Baptiste Bouillot, a professor of School of Mines of Saint-Etienne

 

Venue:

You can arrive by the airport of Lyon/St-Exupéry, then a taxi (75km, 70 euros) to Saint-Etienne. In my opinion, this is the best solution in between time/cost/convenience.
You can also arrive by one of the airport of Paris, then a train (some of them are direct to Saint-Etienne, other with a change at Lyon).
